LOL means laugh out loud online, but it’s also the name of a now world-famous Chihuahua with a huge belly. Due to a hoarding situation in Kansas, the folks at Unleashed Pet Rescue and Adoption stepped in to help Laugh Out Loud.
Poor LOL was very pregnant and very ready to give birth, a record-breaking birth.
Thanks to a willing foster home, the pregnant Chihuahua with a huge belly went into labor. And, the litter of puppies slowly but surely made their way into the world.
The foster mom kept in touch with the rescue center, informing them of seven, eight, nine…and then 10 puppies. Once the pack of 10 pups was born, the family settled in for the night. The no longer pregnant Chihuahua and her babies appeared healthy.
Record-Breaking Chihuahua
During a morning puppy check, the foster mom counted eight boys and three girls for a total of 11 puppies! We have a new record here! Up until that point, the largest litter of Chihuahua pups ever born, according to the Guinness Book of World Records, was 10. Now LOL was getting the last laugh with a litter of 11 puppies! They will all have loving forever homes.
