Five pedigree Chihuahua dogs have been stolen from a petting zoo, say North Wales Police.
The animals were taken from an enclosure at Greenacres Animal Park, Mancot, Flintshire, late on Wednesday night.
CCTV images show a group of youths breaking into the compound.
A monkey has been stolen from the park in the past but it was eventually returned after being found abandoned.
Park owner John Johnson described the latest theft as “disheartening”, adding that the dogs were used in a pets corner.
He said they were micro-chipped apart from the youngest as it was born this year.
The dogs are said to be worth several hundred pounds each.
Police say anyone with information should call PC2525 at Deeside police station on 08456 071002.
