We have a lot of animals who are looking for a forever home. Today, we feature Tuky and Chenchita, the two Chihuahuas to die for.
As is the case many times, the dogs and cats that we feature in our Pet of the Week segment have a sad backstory. And unfortunately, our two pets also had a sad story.
This week, we have Tuky and Chenchita. They are two cute little Chihuahuas who surrendered to the Animal Welfare Society when they got sick. And unfortunately, their owner couldn’t afford to care for them.
Tuky is a six-year-old male who has an abscess on his tail, which he removed, and is now doing well. Chenchita, a fifteen-year-old female, was thought to be much sicker than she was. She did have some fluid in her lungs. And when she was treated with medicine, she recovered in just a short time.
Now, these two little ones are looking for someone to step up and give them a chance at a new forever home. Here’s a close-up look at Tuky and Chenchita:
