An investigation is underway after a woman allegedly threw her boyfriend's dog to its death from a third-floor window.
Police are investigating claims that Kayleigh Smee, 37, threw her partner Ryan Doe's eight-year-old chihuahua Prince out from a 30 ft-high window during a heated argument at the property in Rochester, Kent.
Residents had claimed the couple had returned from the pub when they were heard shouting at around midnight last Friday.
Mr. Doe had stepped outside to apologize to neighbors when his partner is said to have thrown the canine out of the window. And shouted: 'You can take your f****** dog with you.'
Officers were called to the property following the incident. According to reports.
A source told The Sun: 'They went out to the pub and started to have a row. This continued until they got home.'
They added: 'Ryan went out of their top-floor flat to apologize to neighbors, and that's when little Prince came flying out of the window.
'She shouted, ''You can take your f****** dog with you.''
The canine died at the scene after suffering a broken neck.
Ms. Smee has denied the claims, The Sun reports.
