An animal shelter is no place for an innocent one-year-old Chihuahua who was dumped there without any reason why. Even worse, the dog is not adjusting to life in the lonely shelter. She cries herself to sleep every night.

The Carson Animal Shelter workers knew the dog felt hopeless and full of despair. They placed a little pink sweater on the dog, but she continued to be fearful and shake. And, that would be traumatic for any living thing, not just a Chi.

An anonymous source of the shelter said the dog’s little chest compresses up and down and she cries quietly each night before bed.

The heartbreaking sounds are so gentle because the Chihuahua does not want to disturb the other animals at the shelter. How very sweet of her, right?

Amidst the noise, chaos, and fear, this little dog deserves a life of love. We have no idea why someone would give her up, but the right home must be out there for her.

Thankfully, a recent update indicates she was adopted and gets her happily ever after! So, we are not so sad after all!

  4. OMG, my heart breaks for this little one. No one knows the painy husband and I are going through right now losing our little girl of 16 years identical to this baby. 3 months after she passed away one of her grandsons grieved so bad over her loss we lost him at 10 years old. Since the day he passed away.now his brother is seizuring and lays on the couch where JB.did. Honey Bear and JB are greatly missed though we still have them with us here we stilliss them sleeping between us every night. Lucky is lonesome and we are continuing to look for another. We live on a small farm. Lucky gets along with everyone. We take him everywhere to visit with other dogs to help his loneliness. Please keep a watch out for another little white Chihuahua. Makes no difference male or female.
