The Incident
Beeby and Munchie were out for a walk in Falcon Way, Derby when a dog that looked like a Staffordshire Bull Terrier attacked Munchie. The dog went for Munchie and pinned him to the ground while Beeby tried to intervene. The dog then pulled Munchie out of Beeby's hands and ran away with his lead and collar still on. Beeby tried to chase after the dog but was unable to catch up.
Munchie's Rescue Story: Munchie was rescued three years ago from a puppy farm and was a very nervous dog who didn't like to walk and avoided strangers. However, he loved cuddles, and Beeby described him as their "baby." Losing him has been traumatic for her, and she has been unable to sleep or eat properly since his disappearance.
